PADDLE MIXING |
MACHINE MIXING |
| Hardwall, browning, backing & undercoat plasters |
Backing plasters are quite heavy to mix and are often mixed two or three bags at a time
The MM21 or MM22 MEGAMIXERS with an MR3 5in paddle are recommended for a daily output of 150 square metres a day. For more constant use the MM29 or MM30 with an MR3 6in paddle is suggested |
For mixing of hardwall use the RMX100 ROTAMIXER
This mixer will turnout a bag in about 2 minutes up to 20 bags an hour
Hardwall can also be mixed and pumped through the M22 Mixer Pump. This machine will take dry powder, mix and pump it to the spray gun for application |
| One coat renders & colour through renders, K-Rend & Monocouche |
Polymer and silicone renders are normally used in large volumes and need a constant supply of mixed material
The MM29 or MM30 MEGAMIXERS with an MR3 6in paddle are recommended |
For trowel application these renders can be mixed using the RMX100 or RMX200 ROTAMIXERS
Many of these bagged renders can be spray applied using a mixer pump |
| Epoxy screeds & mortars |
Epoxy mortars can be heavy sticky materials that are hard to mix
Use the slower speed MM22 or MM30 MEGAMIXERS with a 5in or 6in MR4 screw type paddle
The MZR21 with twin contra-rotating paddles gives the most thorough mix action for heavy mortars and also has the easiest mix action |
The RM65 ROTAMIXER will mix up to two x 25kg bags of epoxy mortar, thoroughly and quickly |
| Latex & self-levelling toppings |
Latex and cement based floor toppings and self-levellers require thorough mixing before application
Unlike epoxies, cement based pourable toppings benefit from being mixed at faster speeds, about 500rpm, to disperse the powders into the liquid
The MM19, MM21 and MM29 are suitable single speed MEGAMIXERS. The MM22 and MM30 are two speed MEGAMIXERS that can be run at 500rpm for cement based toppings or slower for mortars. An MR3 4in or 5in spiral design paddle is recommended |
The RM32 rotary drum mixer thoroughly mix latex and cementitious self-levellers |
| Concrete repair mortars |
Repair mortars range from grouts to aggregate and fibre filled trowel applied mortars
Use the slower speed MM22 or MM30 MEGAMIXERS with a 5in or 6in MR4 screw type paddle
The MZR21 with twin contra-rotating paddles gives the most thorough mix action for heavy mortars and also has the easiest mix action |
The RM65 ROTAMIXER will mix up to two x 25kg bags of grout or mortar |
