PADDLE SELECTION

Select the mixer paddle design for its mix action which generates the material flow and shear

Select the size of the paddle for the litre capacity to be mixed. The paddle diameter should be between a third and a half of the mixing tub or container Select the mixer drill for its power and speed which governs the maximum mix output, weight and capacity

MR3 Spiral Paddles
The best design for most plasters, mortars and coatings; the spiral design converts power tool torque to thorough mix action; the mix action is top to bottom and the paddle floats in mix .
The MR3R design is the same shape paddle but with a right hand spiral; the mix is pulled from bottom to top

MR2 Spiral Paddles
MR2 paddles are a two blade version of the MR3 but with less shear on the blades; the paddles require less power tool torque

MR4 Screw Paddles
This shape turns and lifts the mix from bottom to top; it is the most effective paddle for heavier mortars, epoxy, render and screed

MR7 Basket Paddles
The basket shape is a low shear mixer that will turn and whisk the material. It is ideal for lighter weight and powder based mixes

MR8 Impellor Paddles
Impellor paddles will blend and disperse powder materials and paints; the design gives a low splash mix and can be used with faster speed drills
